The Foo Fighters will perform a short set at the White House as part of the annual festivities on the South Lawn. And Ashdown bassist Nate Mendel is set to reunite with his original band, Sunny Day Real Estate for a national tour that kicks off in September. Check here for news and dates.

Glastonbury 09 looks set to be another classic, with rain, mud and some great Ashdown-powered bands. If you're going, look out for The Specials, Lilly Allen, Tom Jones, Bloc Party, The Ting Tings, The Script, Bon Iver, Art Brut, Esser, Noisettes and Just Jack, to name a few. Pink Floyd bassist and Ashdown afficianado Guy Pratt entertained the crowds at PMT's Leeds and manchester stores with his unique blend of tales from the tourbus, combined with the bass playing that's won him gigs with Madonna, Michael Jackson and countless others. We had a great weekend in the warm up tent backstage at Download this weekend and we also managed to get out front and see some great shows, including DevilDriver (pictured right). And what a thrill to see Ashdown artist Rick Savage topping the bill with Def Leppard on Sunday. Look out for some video soon but in the meantime, click here to see some pix.

Ashdown will be backstage supporting out artists playing this year's Download fest in Donington on the 12th-14th of June. Ashdown bands playing include Pendulum, Def Leppard, Devil Driver, The Crave, Buckcherry, Twin Atlantic and more, so keep an eye out for pics and interviews as the weekend unfolds!
