After the success of the inaugural Marshall Theatre, we felt it appropriate to extend the capabilities and usefulness of our exclusive online video player. So it gives us great pleasure to announce that the latest version of the Marshall Theatre is now up and running. From now on this will be the place to get your Marshall fix, providing everything from artist interviews, back stage news from some of the biggest UK music festivals and product launches to name but a few.

 

One of the most exciting features however will be the ever growing library of official Marshall Product demo’s - starting with an extensive look at the mighty, all-encompassing MG Series. Whether you’re looking for the perfect Christmas gift to give a fledgling rock star or just fancy treating yourself to an amp loaded with great tone and features, these demonstrations will be sure to help you decide which amp is right for you.

 

Be sure to check back regularly as the Marshall Theatre will continue to be updated with new content from this point on.

Vote for your favourite Megadeth song

For those of you that don't already know, guitar legend Dave Mustaine of Megadeth will be appearing at this years Guitarfest at Music Live. Always one to listen to his fans, Dave is offering you the chance to request what songs you would like him to play through his backline of favourite Marshall cabs. Just send an email to dave.mustaine@musiclive.co.uk with the name of the song in the subject bar and Dave will perform the songs with the most votes. Do not put anything in the body of the email as it will be ignored by the automated voting system.

Lee Cooper 100th Anniversary

Marshall Amplification is proud to announce it's collaboration with the acclaimed British jeans manufacturer Lee Cooper in celebrating their 100th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone we have produced 10 customised JVM amplifiers covered in Lee Cooper's signature demin.

 

These amplifiers will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go towards the world wide fight against AIDS. In conjunction with the Swiss Red Cross, there is currently a listing on the Swiss version of eBay for a JVM210H 100 Watt head and 1960A and B cabinets, all covered in Lee Cooper denim at a starting price of 5800,00 Swiss Francs (approximately £3188.63). With the auction finishing on Sunday 2nd November there's still time to get your bid in for the chance of owning one of these very rare amplifiers.

1923 85th Anniversary

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Limited Edition 1923 amplifiers, created to commemorate the 85th birthday of company founder and 'Father of Loud' himself - Dr. Jim Marshall OBE. The range is based on the legendary JCM2000 DSL series and consists of the 1923 head and the 1923C 2x12" combo. Each amp boasts 50 Watts of pure all-valve power and that distinctive Marshall tone. As part of Music Live, PMT is proud to present Guitarfest 2008 - in association with Marshall Amplification. Taking place at Birmingham NEC on Friday 7th November, Guitarfest brings you virtuoso performances from Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Thunder, The Quireboys, Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza of Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake, Vinnie Moore of UFO and Soren Anderson.

PMT and Guitarfest are proud to be assisting the missing persons charity 'Missing People', the Police and the BBC in their search for 26 year old and keen guitarist Stephen Hadley. We hope that he or someone who knows him may be attending Guitarfest 2008 at MusicLive this Nov 7th. A TV crew from the BBC's 'Missing Live' and a Police officer will be available to speak with anyone who might be able to shed some light on Stephens whereabouts.
