Shaun Baxter

Band-leader, Shaun Baxter, released his debut album, Jazz Metal, in 1994. This ground-breaking album was made album of the month and received five stars from many domestic and international magazines. As an indication of his popularity (and certainly not of his talent), in 1996, Shaun was voted runner-up as 'Best New Guitarist' by the readers of Total Guitar magazine (coming second only to Noel Gallagher of Oasis). He was included in the Guitarist Book of Guitarist (which is a who's who of the "worlds most influential guitarists and bass players") and Shaun's Jazz Metal album topped the book's suggested listening section for fusion recordings. Shaun has been interviewed by all of the domestic and many international guitar magazines and at least five tracks off his Jazz Metal album have been transcribed and analysed in various publications. Shaun was also included in a list of the "Top 50 rock guitar players since the 1980's" in an article that recently appeared in 'Guitarist' (the world's biggest selling guitar magazine).
