Trashed & Scatered is taken for the 2005 album, City of Evil by American metal band Avenged Sevenfold. The song is up tempo metal in drop D tuning and features a series of classic Iron Maiden style metal riffs, thrash metal alternate picking riffs, and a lead guitar part in the chorus to die for, played by Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance.
