Description

Yellow, from the 2000 album Parachutes, was a huge hit for British alternative rock group Coldplay. As with several of Coldplay's songs, there is an alternate tuning, in this case the exceptionally unusual EABGBD# or open EmMaj11, probably the first and last time you'll ever see that. From there the song features a host of semi traditional chord shapes which sound much more complicated in this tuning.
