Description

Man in the Box is taken from the Alice In Chains 1990 debut album, Facelift. Often cited as one of the big names in grunge rock, this track shows Jerry Cantrel riffing away with his usual dirty swaggar. The song is tuned down a semi one to Eb and takes advantage of notes in the key of Eb minor. In this series of videos, Danny Gill will take you through all of the riffs and the blues rock influenced solo, one of the elements which made Cantrel stand out from other bands of the grunge movement.
