Bat Country is taken for the 2005 album, City of Evil by American metal band Avenged Sevenfold. The song is up tempo metal in drop D tuning and features a series of classic metal riffs, thrash metal alternate picking riffs, some clean arpeggiated chords and a full speed shed metal solo with melodic harmony section as played by Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance.
