Alice In Chains Rock Sonisphere

American rockers Alice In Chains were on top form yesterday as at Sonisphere, Knebworth. The set list included favourites from the ‘Dirt’ album including ‘Them Bones’, ‘Rooster’ and ‘Would’ plus a sample of things to come with a track from the forthcoming album.

The driving force behind Alice in Chains has always been Jerry Cantrell, his influence still remaining strong with overlapping vocal lines, down tuned dramatic blues riff’s, punctuated power chords.

My personal highlight was watching a live version of the classic ‘Man In The Box’ from the photo pit and being blown away by the energy of the performance.
