V-Fest begins tomorrow with Oasis still at war!

Fri, 21 Aug 2009

Oasis have never exactly been the most stable of bands when it comes to the brothers’ Gallagher and their famous bust-ups. But recently it would seem that the relationship between front-men Liam and Noel has hit an all time low.

Apparently leaving Noel in tears (according to Liam) a row at an airport over their supporting act led to the sibling rivals no longer travelling with each other! Liam recently told NME “The only time I see him is on stage. For the first time in my life I haven’t got a f**king clue what’s going on with Oasis.”

But fans of, arguably the biggest British band  going, can rest assured.  The group are set to rock V Festival in Essex and Staffordshire this weekend. And as Oasis’ two core members have been battling one another from day one, w can expect there to be no love lost come gig night.
The recent comments were made after Oasis sell-out show at London, UK’s Roundhouse, where Noel remarked that Liam was “probably on his man-period” because the singer had apparently been moaning at the crowd.

This is what apparently prompted Liam to compare Noel to Parker from Thunderbirds during the interview, and go on to reveal their current dilemma. The fiery singer then implied that Oasis may take some time off when their live obligations are met. I expect for now the band, as well as the fans, will just have to “Roll with it!”
Also playing at V this weekend will be The KillersBiffy Clyro, Ocean Colour Scene, Snow Patrol, Elbow, Razorlight, The Specials, and The Script as well as a host of others.
