Tue, 03 Nov 2009
Last night (November 1st) former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore took to the stage at London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, fans who attended have said about the event "Gary Moore was FANTASTIC!!!!! I love his beautiful solo's."
With a career which dates back to the 1960’s there are just a handful of musical genres that he's not not tried his hand at, and has graced the line ups of several notable rock bands including Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II and Skid Row.He has now established himself within the Blues world gaining fans young and old who can't get enough of him.
Gary's self produced "Bad For You Baby" album was released on Eagle Records in September 2008 and is available through his official website (www.gary-moore.com).
After touring extensively throughout the Germany, UK & Spain earlier in the year the demand called for more and dates in Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Holland, Hungary, Poland and of course more UK dates were added to his schedule.
With long-term and new fans quoting they were "spellbound with his seemingly effortless finger work", and "will never forget this as long as I live!" it's clear to see why he has enjoyed such a long and successful career.
LickLibrary's Kim Waller was at the last night's show to capture some of the magic from a set list that included favourites like Oh Pretty Woman, Still Got The Blues and Walking By Myself, classics like Parisienne Walkways and a mix of old and new plus an encore featuring Otis Taylor
