The Who to play at the Superbowl?

Rumours are circulating the internet that British rockers, The Who, are set to play at the 2010 Superbowl half time show.

Rumours appear to lead back to Sports Illustrated who have stated the existing members of The Who, Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey are set to play Super Bowl XLIV on February 7th in Miami.

So far the band have denied the appearance on their official website stating "Rumours circulating that The Who are going to play at the Superbowl in Miami in February are pure speculation."The NFL are yet to confirm thee details also and have been quoted as saying, "When we have something to announce we'll announce it."
