Slash & Friends spend their time to help a great cause

Last night in Los Angeles, legendary guitarist Slash and a host of celebrity rockstar friends hosted a benefit concert for the Los Angeles Youth Network, which his wife Perla is on the board, when asked if he'd be interesting in doing the concert to support LAYN he was fully behind the idea.
Before the event Causecast uploaded the following video intertview with Slash where he talks about the event.
The "Slash & Friends" gig, however has nothing to do with his solo album he insists recently in an interview with ARTISTdirect.com last week, "No, this show actually has nothing to do with my solo album."
When asked if he felt playing a benefit was more special than a regular gig Slash replied, "It is special! There's something about it. It's a one-night event. It's not totally self-centered—which is how a concert usually is." He then goes on to say "There's definitely a feeling of camaraderie and a feeling of giving and caring as well. It's really cool."
Early this morning Slash uploaded a few iphone photos to his facebook wall for fans to see the events of the night, with one of him with Linkin Park's Chester Bennington who sang "Paradise City" with him and Dave Navarro, and other performances and photos included Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler, Travis Barker, Chris Chaney and Frankie Perez and Andrew Stockdale and many more who were involved in the night.
