Sonisphere Festivals are back for a second year, Metallica confirm they're back to headline Poland!

Summer 2009 saw Sonisphere Festival's first year with events across Europe, getting ready for their second year in 2010, Sonisphere UK are getting ready for a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT at 6pm GMT tonight!

Speculation and rumours across the internet of what the big announcement has been about the line up for next year's Knebworth festival -including the likes of Aerosmith, Rage Against, the Machine, System of a Down and headliners Iron Maiden and Rammstein.

Earlier today, Metallica announced that they would be back to headline the Sonisphere Festival in Poland.


"We are now entering the June portion of the “random tour announcement” derby and today's installment is one that is particularly exciting for us as we are proud to tell you that we will again be headlining the Sonisphere Festival, now embarking upon its second year in existence. 

The first show of the traveling festival will be on June 16 at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland and joining us are some longtime friends . . . Slayer, Anthrax, and Mastodon!"
