Extreme guitarist performs with Rihanna and talks of new

Last month Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt directly confirned on his Myspace blog that he will be touring with singer Rihanna on her World Tour as lher ead guitarist.

After the first round of rehearsals he was excited and ready to go saying, "And having finished the first round of rehearsals... it did not disappoint.  Even better than what I expected because she also has the most incredible band, and I get the privilege to add to their wall of sound.  It's gonna be fun. Come see and hear it for yourself!"

On November 16th Nuno & Rihanna performed tracks from her new album "Rated R" to a free online audience live from London. Then on December 5th he played a television appearance with her for US show 'Saturday Night Live' and has updated his fans on his Myspace blog. 

Rihanna's album "Rated R" which is out now also features guitar legend Slash on the track "ROCKSTAR 101" so it definitely shows she's taking things seriously.
