Avenged Sevenfold's Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, Rest In Peace

Something I never wanted to write but out of respect for a sweet man, it is with a heavy heart that I do.

Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan passed away yesterday at his home in Huntington Beach, California. At only 28 years of age, it was confirmed that the drummer died of natural causes, and tests would be done to find out further information.

The band released the following statement last night:

"It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.
We love you.

Our condolenses to the band, his friends, family and the Avenged Sevenfold fans at this sad time.  Jimmy was a sweet, loved and talented human being and will be missed greatly.
