Zakk Wylde treated for blood clot

Zakk Wylde was admitted to hospital following a Black Label Society gig in Montana, USA last week. He is said to have suffered from a blood clot, and has been receiving treatment over the past week or so.

According to Zakk’s twitter account, he intends to keep touring with Black Label Society in 2009, hitting South America in December. 

He also states that BLS will be heading back to the studio early next year before embarking on a world tour.  However, he stresses that he still has to “…get rid of these Fn blood clots first!”

There is currently very little information available, but as soon as LickLibrary finds out more, we will keep you posted. In the meantime, we wish Zakk a speedy recovery.
