New Foo Fighters track leaked online ahead of Greatest Hits release

Fri, 25 Sep 2009

LickLibrary can report that one of the new Foo Fighters songs, intended for release with their much-talked about forthcoming Greatest Hits album, have been leaked on the internet!

Dave Grohl has hardly been out of the news recently. Since hooking up with Josh Homme (Queens of The Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) to create supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, the column inches have been increasing daily.

The Guitar Hero debacle saw Dave Grohl once again thrust into the media spotlight, as LickLibrary previously reported. Grohl and Novoselic, both originally of Nirvana, were compelled to release a statement explaining their lack of involvement with Kurt Cobain’s avatar on the game, and expressing their disappointment at the result.

Now, as the Foo Fighters Greatest Hits album release date looms, one of the two new original songs from the album has been leaked on the internet.

Foo Fighters recently announced the track-list for their Greatest Hits album. This included two new songs entitled ‘Wheels’ and ‘Word Forward’.
