Glam metal rockers Steel Panther add two new UK dates

LA's favourite glam metal band return to the UK for 2 dates in March 2010 at Newcastles O2 Acadamy, and London's Brixton O2 Academy. 
 
Their album 'Feel The Steel' features guest vocals from Avenged Sevenfold's M Shadows, The Darkness's Justin Hawkins and Slipknots Corey Taylor, and their fanbase has grown from strength to strength worldwide with many celebrity fans frequenting their long running LA Metal Show.

New Slash solo album nearly ready

The long awaited solo album of former Guns 'N' Roses & Velvet Revolver guitar legend Slash has been rumoured for release in Early 2010. It will feature guest vocals from Alice Cooper, Chris Cornell, M Shadows, Ozzy Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger, Fergie, and Dave Grohl with many other musicians involved to make the magic happen.

New live Nirvana DVD due for release in November

LickLibrary have learned that Nirvana's historic 1992 headlining appearance at the UK's Reading Festival is one of the most bootlegged performances ever, which has been ranked number one in Kerrang Magazine's "100 Gigs That Shook The World" and voted as "Nirvana's Number One Greatest Moment" by fans in an NME poll.  
 
Now, for the first time, fans will have an opportunity to own a pristine copy of that entire performance...

Guns and Roses hit with million dollar lawsuit

Last week Licklibrary favourites Guns and Roses were hit with a $1million lawsuit. Legal papers claim that the track titled Riad N' the Bedouins featuring on the 'Chinese Democracy' album contained illegally copied samples from 2 of the German electronic musicians Ulrich Schnauss records.
