Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers new album and tour.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers announced this week a 2010 US tour in support of their first studio album in 8 years which is released this Spring.

The album, entitled Mojo, will be the band's twelth studio release."...and is the sound of a band making some of its most exhilarating music, over thirty years into their career." says the statement on the official website.

The tour begins on the 6th of May in North Carolina and travels throughout the US & Canada during the summer and will feature many special guests including Joe Cocker, ZZ Top, Drive-By Truckers, Stills and Nash, Crosby and My Morning Jacket.
