Ex-Stereophonics Drummer Stuart Cable passes away

This image has been reduced in size - click here to view full sizeAt 5.30am this morning (Monday 7th June) the former Stereophonics drummer and BBC Radio Wales presenter Stuart Cable was found to have died at his home in Llwycoed (Near Aberdare) in South Wales.

Throughout morning tributes have been around the internet as news broke of his death.  There has been no cause of death indicated at the moment, however Police do not suspect any suspiscious cirumstances.

Stuart Cable left the Stereophonics in 2003 and went on to host his own rock show on BBC Radio Wales and a presenter for Kerrang radio.  During his career with the Stereophonics he played as opening acts for bands such as U2 and the Rolling Stones.  

He later formed a new group called Killing for Company who were due to play at this coming weekends Download Festival, the band's website has a simple tribute message saying "you will be missed".

Fans, friends and colleagues have been posting tributes online throughout the day
