Beatles films are not true says Sir Paul

Sir Paul has recently talked about the two movies Nowhere Boy and Lennon Naked, "It's a great tribute that whatever we did is so lasting and people can still make films about The Beatles which can still be successful. For me, though, they're not true and that's the unfortunate thing about them. John never punched me out like he does in Nowhere Boy , but my character is kind of cool in the film so I don't mind being punched out. I told the film director Sam all of that but she said, 'Yeah. But Paul, it's just a film."Last night Paul McCartney played to an excited Hard Rock Calling crowd at London's Hyde Park.  His set was said to be "storming".  When he took the stage the crowd erupted into cheers as he played some of his best loved hits.  He also played new material from his project 'The Fireman'.

During the show he paused to look out at the crowd of over 50,000 and a spotted a cheeky banner held by a fan and took a moment to answer it in good humour. "We got one here that says, 'Sign my butt and I'll get it tattooed.' The answer to that is no"

The show was streamed online with all funds being donated to the Born HIV Free Campaign.
