Green Day and Slash to play the New York Jets season opener!

Green Day & Slash are set to bring Rock N Roll to the new Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey next month as The New York Jets celebrate the first NFL game of the season at the newly opened stadium.

NJ.com have reported that Green Day will be performing at the Halhalf-time show with the cast of the 'American Idiot' musical.

Before the hame Slash is scheduled to perform during the tailgate concert that will take place outside of the stadium, singer Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls) is also set to perform at the concert, and is tipped to rumoured to be singing the national anthem at the game.
