In a recent interview with NME.com the band say they've turned down the opportunities to refrain from selling out.

After being asked to appear as themselves in hit TV US show Ugly Betty, the band also rejected an offer from GLEE, Caleb Followill tells NME, "We could have sold out so much more. We turn stuff down constantly." He also told the magazine that they have also turned down an offer from a Hollywood movie with 'an incredibly famous actor'. "We had some people call us up wanting to know if we'd allow 'Use Somebody' to appear in the trailer for their next movie, and we turned them down." The frontman continues, "Next day, they called back and tried to put us through to the star of the movie -- I won't name names, but he's an incredibly famous actor -- to let him try to convince us to agree to do it. I was like, 'Man, don't even waste your energy."

This weekend Kings of Leon will headline the UK V Festival.
