He went no further than his close friends for the backing band for his first show which consisted of Good Charlotte guirist Billy Martin, Aquabats guitarist Ian Fowler and DEAD COUNTRY drummer Jarrod Alexander.

On his Myspace page Saller writes, "This is much different. This is another new and exciting side of creativity and music for me"

In an interview with OC Weekly before the show Brandon said about his debut, "It will be me upfront playing guitar and singing. I've been working on my own music for a little over a year. I just think it's the right time to play shows. I've been sitting on a bunch of songs. There's something inside me right now that I have to get out and share with people. I just have a lot more to say as a musician, stuff I do not get to say in Atreyu. I'm real excited. It kind of exploded on its own. Now, it's time to do it."

He also went on to say he hopes to record an album, once Atreyu's current touring/record schedule comes to an end - towards the end of the year.

Today, Atreyu were preparing to go back on tour with The Used at the end of the month in the US with a short trip to Japan next week before heading back to NAMM tomorrow (Saturday) to sign autographs at a number of different booths, including Afflication, Truth Drums, Ernie Ball and Dean Markley Strings.

Brandon will be performing tomorrow night at DCMA and Buzznet's "Larger Than Life" party at the famous Roxy and another show on January 19th in Fullerton, CA before Atreyu head off to Japan.  Check here for more details on his music and shows.

Make sure you check out both Brandon and Atreyu on tour near you, you won't be disappointed!
