Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda joins The Roots onstage at the Annual Roots Jam Session

Every year The Roots host an annual pre-Grammy event the night before the industries biggest night of the year, "The Roots Jam Session" is an alternative to other "stuffy" industry events that take over Hollywood during the season.  Celebrities, musicians and executives alike turn out to the 4 hour continous performance by the Grammy Award winning band The Roots.

Last night Linkin Park's multi-instrument, producer and vocalist Mike Shinoda joined them onstage at Hollywood's Key Club (well technically this morning at 2.30am and he shared a video clip on his blog today.

Also in attendance was guitar legend Slash, with performances from John Legend, Black Eyed Peas and many more.
