Slash confirms Velvet Revolver are back together rehearsing new material

Velvet Revolver are officially back together and rehearsing new material as they continue their search for a new vocalist.

In an update on the guitarist Myspace blog he tells the fans, "Velvet Revolver is back together jamming, trying out singers. No updates yet. But it’s great to hook up with Duff, Matt and Dave after all this time. I’ll keep you posted on any interesting developments from those sessions as they happen. But the creative juices are definitely flowing. I’m positive something awesome is going to surface soon."He also updates his fans about his recent tour and the plans for 2011, including material that he's working on for a future solo project.
