The Beatles go digital

This image has been reduced in size - click here to view full sizeThe Beatles have finally gone digital through iTunes this week after reaching an agreement to put The Beatles catalogue available for download.

In additionl to the bands albums fans who purchase the digital box-set also receive a never before released concert film called "Live at the Washington Coliseum 1964" which was filmed during their first American performance.

"Am particularly glad to no longer be asked when the Beatles are coming to iTunes," said Ringo Starr when talking about the iTunes announcement.

"We're really excited to bring the Beatles' music to iTunes," said Sir Paul.
"It's fantastic to see the songs we originally released on vinyl receive as much love in the digital world as they did the first time around."

Fans will also be able to stream "Live From The Washington Coliseum" for free for the remainder of 2010 on iTunes,  Check out The Beatles on iTunes here.
