Aerosmith's Joe Perry to join forces with Bad Company's Paul Rodgers

This image has been reduced in size - click here to view full sizePaul Rodgers, best known as singer/songwriter with Free & Bad Company, announced his 2011 UK solo tour last month which will run from mid to the end of April 2011.

This week it was announced that Aerosmith guitarist, Joe Perry, will be teaming up with his at London's Royal Albert Hall.  

Earlier this year The Joe Perry Project were the opening act on Bad Company's UK tour and the guitarist reportedly asked the frontman if he'd consider replacing Steven Tyler.

Gibson.com reports that a few months ago Paul Rodgers commented on the recent Aerosmith problems, "I have enormous respect for all those guys, and I really hope that they iron out their problems and Aerosmith sticks together because they’re such a great band"
