Whitesnake announce UK Tour for 2011

Whitesnake have announced they will tour the UK in June 2011 in support of their upcoming new studio album due out in the Spring.

Tickets go onsale tomorrow (Friday 17th December) for the following tour dates;
MONDAY 13th June NEWCASTLE CITY HALL
TUESDAY 14th June GLASGOW CLYDE AUDITORIUM
THURSDAY 16th June WOLVERHAMPTON CIVIC HALL
FRIDAY 17th June O2 APOLLO MANCHESTER
SUNDAY 19th June BOURNEMOUTH BIC
MONDAY 20th June HMV HAMMERSMITH APOLLO

The band's singer David Coverdale has said about the upcoming tour and album, "We've had an incredibly creative & productive year off writing & recording & also mixing several projects we plan to release over the next few years...We're particularly excited about the new album & we look forward to presenting a mix of new & more familiar songs when we tour...We have all missed the excitement of performing live & are very excited to introduce the new chaps to the Whitesnake Choir..."
