Papa Roach's guitarist Jerry Horton updates fans about new album
Thu, 25 Feb 2010
Papa Roach are back in the studio recording for their follow up to their 2009 album "Metamorphosis", here's what guitarist Jerry Horton had to say when he stopped by the band's website recently.
"We are here in our studio in Sacramento, writing new songs for the next release. It will be a live album, which we recorded on the last run with Shinedown, plus 5 new songs. I'm really stoked about this new stuff. I know band guys say their new stuff is different or ground-breaking, so I'm not going to say that. What I will say is that we are doing our best to make everything interesting, with tasty musical parts, and Jacoby is coming from an honest place in his lyrics. It WILL be different, but obviously Papa Roach. Thanks to you guys for all your support over the years, and we know you will like the new stuff!!"
Anyone that's seen the band live will be excited for the live album release, they give bags of energy in each performance.
Papa Roach will be at the 2nd Sonisphere at Knebworth this year, Sonisphere Festival have also confirmed a new announcement will come out on Monday!
