Reports have revealed that Irish rock band U2 made more money in the US last year than any other act.
Billboard magazine said U2 made $109million (£71m) from touring, record sales and other royalties last year (which is almost twice as much as Bruce Springsteen) who made $58m, Madonna made $47m and AC/DC came in with $44 million (approx £29m).
U2's 360 degree world tour is the most expensive staged tour was also criticized last year for its huge carbon footprint big enough to fly the band to Mars and back despite the band's long standing commitment to "saving the planet" but fans have flocked world-wide to see them live.
U2 will headline the main stage at Glastonbury Festival this summer - they will fly back to the UK in the middle of their US tour to perform on the Friday night.
