Paul McCartney to headline Hard Rock Calling 2010

Announced today London Hyde Park's Hard Rock Calling's line up will include the one and only Sir Paul McCartney.

In the official press release on the festival's website they confirm; "Hard Rock International and Live Nation announce today that PAUL MCCARTNEY will be headlining Sunday 27 June at HARD ROCK CALLING 2010 in Hyde Park, London. From the days of The Beatles to the present this will be McCartney’s first-ever full-blown headlining gig in Hyde Park."

In the past there has been a long line of rok and roll greats that have graced the iconic location including Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Aerosmith, The Police, Eric Clapton, The Killers and Neil Young...

Also confirmed head are Friday's headliners 'Pearl Jam' along with Ben Harper & Relentless 7, Wolfmother, The Gaslight Anthem and the Hives.  Saturday's headliner is still TBC along with the rest of the line up.

Tickets go onsale on Friday 5th March for the event held at London's Hyde Park 25th-27th June 2010.
