Paul McCartney to join Jay-z and The Strokes and headline the Isle of Wight Festival & more UK dates

In addition to Hard Rock calling, this morning the Isle of Wight Festival have confirmed Paul McCartney will also be headlining the annual gathering on the Island.

The Isle of Wight Festival held 11-13th June 2010 will play host to Jay-Z, The Strokes, Paul McCartney, Pink!, Florence and the Machine, Blondie, Calvin Harris, Biffy Clyro, Editors, Doves, Vampire Weekend, Crowded House, Spandau Ballet, and more check the line up here.

In addition to Hard Rock Calling & The Isle of Wight Festival Sir Paul will also be playing dates in Dublin, Glasgow and Cardiiff! "It's always brilliant to play for the home crowd and these dates are ones that me and the band are really excited about." he says on his official website.
