The third movie in the Twilight series 'Eclipse' was due to include MUSE (the band have also featured in the previous 2 films), however it was recently confirmed by MUSE drummer Dom Howard that the song will not be included.

In a recent interview with Canadian entertainment website dose.ca, MUSE's Dom Howard revealed when asked about how things were going with the new song for 'Eclipse' he told them "Nah, it's gone, Oh, it’s nothing to do with Stephenie, she’s totally cool," he explains, "It’s the people in the movie business, completely outside of the writers and the creative types, the non-creative types I suppose are the people who are quite hard to deal with in Hollywood, so it didn’t work out."
"It was a love song, so it’s a personal song, and it wasn’t really to do with the films. But it was sounding good," the drummer explains when talking about the song they were writing and still plan to release despite it no longer being included on the soundtrack.

MUSE are currently on tour in Canada & USA before returning to Europe for the summer festivals, more dates are being added to their schedule weekly and they will headline the main stage on June 26th at Glastonbury Festival (UK).  Check out more tour dates here.
