Towards the end of last week British rock group Pink Floyd won their legal battle against EMI records selling their songs as seperate downloadable tracks and ringtones!

After a case brought forward by Dave Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason it was announced that EMI records must adhere to a clause in the contract to "preserve the artistic integrity of the albums" which prevents them being allowed to unbundle Pink Floyd's albums for single track downloads.

Pink Floyd's victory is thought to believe the first time a band have successfully taken a label to court over the online music distribution, and could lead to further cases within the industry.
