Slash, who's debut solo album comes out next week will be celebrated at the annual festival for his contributions to the history of The Strip as well as the music industry.  The tribute event kicks of the three day music festival and honours icons who have made an impact  on the legacy of the Sunset Strip.  The event will be held at the House of Blues.

"The City of West Hollywood is so proud to be home to the world-famous Sunset Strip, and we look forward to again hosting the Sunset Strip Music Festival," says West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land. "Building on the first two successful events, we're certain that this year's festival will be an amazing celebration of The Strip, its history and great music. That celebration will be even more exciting with the recognition of Slash as one of the festival honorees. He has energized audiences worldwide, but holds a special place in the ongoing legacy of The Sunset Strip."
More details about the Festival are coming soon including line up and ticket information.
