LickLibrary are excited to announce that the Wild Man of Rock, Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt will be hosting our next live webcast!

Rick Parfitt is best known as a singer and the rhythm guitarist for the British Rock band Status Quo; he has written some of the band’s most memorable hits including “Whatever You Want” and is one of England’s greatest rhythm guitarists. Once known as the ‘Wild Man of Rock’, Rick has had a career spanning over 40 years with the band who recently were voted ‘Hardest-Working band of the year’ by the PRS two years running.

Rick also invented ‘The Facelist’, an innovative one-stop guitar makeover which allows the guitarist with the help of a durable and removable vinyl guitar overlay that can used time and time again.
In the 2010 New Years Honours list, Rick Parfitt (and Status Quo band-mate Francis Rossi) received OBE’s for this service to Music and Charity.

Status Quo are on tour this summer throughout the UK and Europe but we’ve managed to schedule him into the LickLibrary studios on June 1st 2010 for an exclusive Rick Parfitt Webcast!
