Fri, 28 May 2010
Roger Waters has said in a recent interview that he wont be too disappointed that the bands last performance together was the 2005 appearance at Live 8.
Talking to BBC news earlier this week he told them, "It was an extraordinarily moving experience for me and if that's the way we draw a line under Pink Floyd, so be it."
The band's keyboardist Richard Wright died in Septembe 2008, Live 8 and Waters, now 66, spoke fondly of his last performance with his band-mate. "Live 8 was so beautiful, and Rick obviously was still with us then. If that's the way we draw a line under Pink Floyd, so be it, I won't be unhappy about that."
He also told the BBC that the Dave Gilmour had said no when the band were asked to reform to perform The Wall by the co-owner of the New York Yankee Stadium.
Roger Waters will begin The Wall live tour of North American in September.
