Spider-Man musical to hit Broadway in December featuring music by U2

The Spider-Man Musical will open on Broadway in December featuring music by U2's The Edge and Bono.

"Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark" has been in production for several years and was originally due to open at the beginning of the year, however after financial problems it will now begin preview performanfces on November 14th, opening night is set for December 21st 2010 says the statement by the shows producer Michael Cohl.

The musical is said to be the most expensive show in Broadway history reports have stated it to have cost up to $50 million to stage.
