Last weekend Kings of Leon headlined the final night at V Festival's Staffordshire site and declared it being one of his 'Favourite Shows ever'.Drawing the biggest crowd of the weekend to the Main Stage at the event they brought the event to a close by showcasing 3 new songs from their album 'Come Around Sundown'.The songs were entitled 'Mary', 'Radioactive', and 'Southbound'. They also played songs from their previous albums and their hit album 'Only By The Night' finishing up with 'Use Somebody' & 'Black Thumbnail'. They however received the biggest cheer when the entire crowd sang along to the chorus of 'Sex On Fire'
The night before when they headlined the main stage at the Chelmsford site the band told Absolute Radio they'd noticed fans in the audience's reaction to their older material thinking it was new.
Nathan Followill explained, "The other night there was someone on the front row and we had played a new song, and then we played 'Trani' which is off our first album. I saw the girl look at another girl and say, 'Is this another new song?' So it's like a lot of them don't know the difference."
You can check out highlights and live tracks from the set at Chelmsford here at Absolute Radio.
