Green Day play 'new' song live for new live album

On their current tour Green Day have had fans at the show and online buzzing at the new tracks being played live.

Frontman Billy Joe Armstrong told their fans in Denver last Saturday the band are currently recording a live album during their tour.  Watch the video at the bottom of the page to hear his announcement, and a brand new song called "Cigarettes and Valentines" - a track new to the fans, but was written during the American Idiot sessions.

The band, who's setlist for their tour has been a huge 35 song extravaganza for the excited fans.
