LickLibrary Weekend Guitar Challenges - Week 2

Fri, 03 Sep 2010

Here's week 2 in our Weekend Challenge Series for you!  We noticed some of you might be a little camera shy, so why not record the audio, or just take part for fun!  But make sure you head over to Facebook and let us know over the weekend how you got on!

Week 2 - Here's another chance to practicing your improvisation skills and create something to one of our downloadable Jamtrax.

What do you need to do?
1. LOGIN and play or Download
to this Jamtrack for the James Blunt song “High”
2. Jam To The Track!
Jam along to the track, you can use any style, any genre, any type of guitar, we just want you to get creative using the tools you have access to here at LickLibrary!
If you want to you can then do steps 3 and 4 if you’re shy – the important thing is to get playing – but we’re also hoping to build this up into a weekly competition if you guys get into this!

3. Upload it to YouTube
or upload an audio track to your LickLibrary account!
Then when you’re done load it to your YouTube channel (if you don’t have one you can create one for free) and then upload it as a video response to our video
4. Post it on Facebook!
Then for fun show your friends on facebook and use the @LickLibrary tagging feature to tell your friends you took the challenge (include the URL for your video!)  and that’ll post the video on our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/licklibrary) wall aswell, we’ll then check them out on Monday and choose our favourite.
This is a great chance for you to challenge yourself, learn some new skills and practice so good luck and most importantly have fun!
We can't wait to see your ideas!

SHOW US YOUR GEAR!!!
We also want to see your gear! So take a photo and @LickLibrary tag your photos so we can see them!!!  Click here for info!  Here's a few of your photos so far - headover to our Facebook Page to see the full size images!

Check out our free technique lessons here aswell to help you (you’ll need to login to your account to access them).
