MUSE & 30 Seconds To Mars manage to take home MTV VMA's against the pop crowd

Last night's the MTV VMA's were held in Los Angeles, California - as predicted the pop phenomenon Lady Gaga walked away with most of the awards. 

Taking home Best Rock Video was '30 Seconds To Mars' for their video "Kings And Queens", "This award really doesn't so much belong to us, it belongs to the most amazing familyThis image has been reduced in size - click here to view full size of friends and fans around the world," Frontman Jared Leto said when accepting the award."We're happy to accept it on their behalf. We're proud to be here and to share it with all the other artists." 

The only other rock act to win a moonman was MUSE who won the Best SFX (Special Effects) Award for their 'Uprising' Video.
