Coldplay delay new album to 2011

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has confirmed there will not be a new album this year from the band.

Coldplay fansite Coldplaying.com has reported Chris Martin told a fan at a recent meet and greet, that "Have still a lot of work to finish," and  "There ain't gonna be a release for Christmas now that is for sure."

Coldplay fans will have to wait until 2011 for the fifth studio album from the band since 1999 to be released.
