No Doubt to plan world tour as they write new album
Tue, 21 Sep 2010
After a string of reunion dates played last year in North America, No Doubt are set to release a new album and are planning a World Tour.
In a recent interview with Billboard.com bassist Tony Kanal said they definitely are planning to tour outside of the US following last year's successful shows, "I think it'll be even bigger," he told them, "and when I say bigger I mean more shows and around the world."
The band are in the writing stages for their sixth studio album, the follow up to 2001's "Rock Steady" and according to the bassist things are going well, "I swear, we're having more fun than we've ever had writing a record before," he continued said. "I think because it's been a while, but also because we're older...the fact that we're still doing it together after 24 years -- you know, working on music -- I think we really appreciate that."
Here's a flash back to a great track from No Doubt, their hit "Don't Speak"
