Bon Jovi's 'The Circle' tour listed as the highest earning tour of 2010

In the latest report by Pollstar, Bon Jovi's 'The Circle' tour was the highest earning tour of 2010, raking in a reported $201.1m worldwide.
Bon Jovi played a huge 80 shows throughout their tour in 2010 around the world, including a summer residency at London's O2 Arena (images by Kim Waller).
Other high earners last year were AC/DC, U2, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Michael Buble, The Eagles, Paul McCartney and ex Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters.

2009's biggest earners, U2, took number 3 playing just 32 shows on their 360 tour throughout the year after cancelling shows due to frontman Bono's back injury this year, there were also some reports of empty seats at recent U2 shows. U2 are reportedly planning their biggest year yet in 2011 which could see them take back the top spot at the end of the year as they plan a new album.
