Paul McCartney to sing at the Royal Wedding

Paul McCartney is reported to have been asked to play at Prince William's wedding.

The Royal wedding will be held on April 29th with the former Beatles possibly performing for the guests of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Buckingham Palace.  The couple chose Sir Paul McCartney as their number one choice a source has announced. "They can't think of anyone more perfect to kick off proceedings."
Currently no official statement has been made, and a royal spokesman has refused to confirm only saying that "none of it has been finalised".
