The band have been having 'real discussions' about approaching Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson about doing a gig on his Virgin Galactic spacecraft Matt Bellamy recently told The Sun newspaper.

"I'm thinking of approaching Richard Branson to see if we could do it on his spacecraft he's got happening,"
he revealed
"Although we do have a lot of equipment, so I guess we'd have to use pods to carry our stuff and we'd scale back the shows a lot."

Although its an ambitious dream for the 3 piece band, they do hope that with the world's technology advances they willl one day be able to perform in orbit.  "I do think it will be possible in the future and I'm sure it will happen in my lifetime. We'd love to be part of that."
