Gary Moore passes away age 58

The world was stunned and saddened at the news yesterday when it was confirmed that sadly Gary Moore had passed away whilst on holiday in Spain at the age of 58.

Tributes have flooded the internet from former bandmates, fellow musicians and fans throughout the world since his manager Adam Parsons confirmed to the BBC that he had passed away at the hotel in the Costa del Sol.

His long career saw the Belfast born blues rock guitarist as both a succesful solo artist and as a member of the bands Skid Row and then later Thin Lizzy featuring on tracks on their album "Nightlife" and "Black Rose" in the 1970s.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
