Japan charity gig Promoters are disappointed with ticket 'resell' sites for allowing
the listing of tickets for profit for the Beady Eye and Primal Scream benefit show in London.
Touts have bought up tickets for the show that will take place this Sunday when they went onsale last Friday morning and then listed on sites such as eBay and another unnamed ticket reseller site, at a mark up.
In a recent report from BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat SJM, the promoters organisation the show with the British Red Cross have said, "We strongly disapprove of profiteering from the misery and suffering of the people in Japan. "It is very disappointing that one secondary reseller and eBay continue to offer these charity fundraiser tickets."
The promoters have asked relevant websites to "delist the event" so that touts cannot sell the tickets for a profilt.
A host of artists including Primal Scream, Liam Gallaghers new band Beady Eye, Graham Coxon, Richard Ashcroft, The Coral and Paul weller will play the show at London's Brixton Academy this weekend.
